Our Redox Clay Mask uses bentonite clay to remove impurities from your skin—pulling out dirt and oil from the superficial layers of your skin—but it will not negatively impact fillers.

Can the Redox Clay Mask be used on other areas of your body, such as neck and arms?

The Redox Clay Mask has been formulated for facial application, but several consumers have seen benefits when applying to their neck, arms, elbows, and even their back and knees.

What about applying the mask on the sensitive area under my eye?

The Redox Clay Mask can be applied to your entire face, but care must be taken to ensure the mask avoids contact with your eye.

What’s the difference between using the ASEA Redox Clay Mask (which contains redox signaling molecules) and another 100% bentonite clay mask in conjunction with ASEA’s RENU28® Gel (which also contains redox signaling molecules)?

No 100% bentonite clay mask on the market contains redox signaling molecules, which supports communication at the surface skin cellular level. In addition, our Redox Clay Mask is not 100% bentonite clay. It is a proprietary mix of bentonite, sodium magnesium fluorosilicate, and other ingredients. It is also pH-adjusted to maximize the redox cell signaling molecules while maintaining the stability of these molecules. Traditional clay masks focus on cleansing the skin only. The ASEA Redox Clay Mask both cleanses and rejuvenates simultaneously because of the redox molecules in our mask, and there is a synergistic effect on skin surface cells when these steps happen in tandem. The Redox Clay Mask also prepares skin to more effectively receive RENU28.

What is sodium magnesium used for?

We use sodium magnesium fluorosilicate in our formula. This ingredient is another type of clay and is used as a thickening agent in our Redox Clay Mask.

Where does ASEA source its bentonite clay?

We source our ultra-pure and pristine bentonite—which is a volcanic ash—from a large deposit in Wyoming (US).

Where do I incorporate ASEA® Redox Clay Mask into my routine?

You can use ASEA® Redox Clay Mask as a stand-alone product on a clean, dry face 2-3 times a week on non-consecutive days.

It can also be incorporated into your regular weekly skin regimen with ASEA’s RENUAdvanced® Skin Care System and RENU28® Revitalizing Redox Gel and the Intensive Redox Serum to cleanse, tone, hydrate, and beautify your skin. On days the mask is used:

How does ASEA® Redox Clay Mask clean skin without drying it out?

ASEA® Redox Clay Mask has a clay-based formula balanced with sodium magnesium fluorosilicate, sodium phosphate, and sodium chloride to help replenish skin. The mask tightens the skin as it dries, but the blend of ingredients helps achieve a desirable pH—leading to soft and smooth skin without the excessive drying that can occur with other clay masks.

The mask can also be complemented with ASEA’s RENUAdvanced® Skin Care System and RENU28® Revitalizing Redox Gel and Intensive Redox Serum for targeted hydration as needed.

Is this product okay to use on dry skin?

Yes, the product is suitable for all skin types and was specifically formulated to be non-drying. If you have really dry skin, you can reduce the application time of the ASEA® Redox Clay Mask. This product can also be used in conjunction with the RENUAdvanced® Skin Care System to balance out hydration.
